Emely earned a B.A in Psychology from University of UMASS Lowell in Lowell, MA. Emely completed her first Master's in Counseling Psychology from Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA. Additionally, she has earned a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL.
Emely is passionate in helping young adults, and beyond, to navigate life’s different transitions and phases. She is dedicated to meeting her clients where they are, offering a client-centered approach that honors each individual journey and autonomy.
Her practice focuses on trauma, promoting a balanced lifestyle, and breaking the stigma against mental health. Ziomara is passionate in helping at-risk youth, teens, young children, and young adults discover their strengths and achieve their goals. With a deep understanding of the unique struggles faced by young people, and those in transitional phases of life, her approach is grounded in empathy and inclusivity. She is dedicated to meeting her clients where they are, offering a client-centered approach that honors each individual journey and autonomy. Her practice focuses on trauma, promoting a healthy lifestyle, body image issues and breaking the stigma against mental health.
As a practitioner trained in mindfulness, AutPlay, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Binge Eating, Chronic Dieting, Intuitive Eating and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Ziomara integrates these techniques to support healing and personal growth.

Latossya is a Master’s-level therapist with extensive experience providing individual counseling, couples counseling, and family therapy to adolescents and adults ages 14 and older. Therapy with her is collaborative and practical as she will focus not only on understanding what you are experiencing, but also on developing skills you can use in everyday life to support emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and sustainable change.
She brings years of experience working across outpatient therapy, crisis services, inpatient, and residential treatment settings, supporting individuals and families facing complex mental health and substance use challenges. Her background in crisis intervention, comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and coordinated care allows me to support clients through both periods of stability and times of acute stress. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University majoring in Criminology with a minor in Psychology. She earned her Master of Social Work from Walden University.
Clients often describe her as warm, grounding, honest, and supportive, while also being direct and goal focused. Latossya values cultural humility and strives to create an affirming environment where clients feel empowered, understood, and respected. You do not need to have everything figured out to begin therapy. Latossya believes that taking the first step is an act of strength and you do not have to take it alone. Marcela Castañeda is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida, originally from Bogotá, Colombia. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Santo Tomás University in Bogotá and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Neuropsychology from San Buenaventura University in Bogotá. After relocating to the United States, she continued her clinical work providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families in Miami..
